CHILDREN'S MINISTRY
CHILDREN'S MINISTRY STATEMENT
Jesus made it quite clear that children—all children—matter to God. He values them not only for what they will become in the future but for who they are today.
*We believe that God has called us, in partnership with parents, to help our children:
*KNOW the Word of God deeply and the Lord Jesus personally
*GROW to be like Jesus
*GO serve Him in their homes, church, school and community
YOUR FIRST VISIT
Children and Preschoolers should be brought to the Children's Welcome Center where they will be greeted by a Children's Ministry Host. The Host will determine the appropriate classroom for the child, take them to their class location and introduce them to their Bible Study Leader. The child should be picked after Bible Study or Worship by their parent or guardian in the class location.
Children, Kinder through 5th grade attend worship with their parent or guardian.
Preschoolers, Infants through Pre-Kindergarteners may stay in their Bible Study Location while their parent or guardian attend worship.
Children often have some separation anxiety the first few times they attend a new place. We are aware of this and are prepared to get them involved in fun activities to help them enjoy their visit with us. If, after 15 minutes, they haven't settled in, we will contact you on your cell phone and you may choose to come back and get them or let us try a little longer.
